Now, I know they're kids so a little cliche and the like are expected. However this may be my inner grammar and spelling nazi speaking but I cannot stand horrible spelling, grammar and punctuation. When reading something, I prefer not to have to decipher it like it was written by a coked up monkey in a room full of boggle cubes. I mean even simple words are misspelled. Even words that a 7 year old knows how to spell like 'shining'. I'm not mean to them about it though, I just point it out. Now another subject... Stories about vampires. For the love of Rassilon our culture is arse deep in vampires. 9/10 stories I read at that club involve vampires in some way. Granted, some of them (mainly boys) try to make it interesting, coming up with their own theories as to how vampires work. A couple of the girls however go straight for what I call 'romantic' vampires (Twilight, True Blood etc) and the story becomes little more than a very detailed description of muscles and eyes and other physical features. The english teacher that runs the club is quite cool in how she doesn't censor peoples work. If they're confident enough to present it, we can at least read it as she would say.
But these stories are little more than thinly veiled sexual fantasies with massive plot holes. Ala Twilight. It's just infuriating. I hope Stephanie Meyer is happy because she's ruined a generation of young writers. Call me a literary elitist if you will, but I'm just sick of vampires. My work is by no means original but I at least try to make things my own.
Rant over.

I took the time to read a few of your writings, and I think the're pretty good! I do a bit of writing myself, although I haven't uploaded any of it yet.
